Many surprises appeared this year

I was hoping to get this site up with available herbs by June, but here it is September and I haven’t got a thing done online.
While wandering our property this Spring and Summer I found a large assortment of herbs I have never noticed before, growing wild and with purpose!
I have been busy harvesting and preserving seeds.   I will be moving within the year and I would like to bring my bounty with me…all of these plants are part of an old Herb Farm that was 100 acres-and we live right in the middle of it.

Here is a list of Heirloom plants I have harvested this year:

St. John’s Wort,  Comfrey, Japanese Knotweed, Horsetail,  Mullein,  Red Clover,  Tansy, Stinging Nettle,  Peppermint,  Bitter Lettuce,  California Poppy,  Foxglove,  Queen Anne’s Lace,  Sweet Wormwood,  Goldenrod,  Bird’s Foot Trefoil,  Herb Bennet,  Goat’s Rue,  Yarrow,  Red Raspberry Leaf,  Salal,  Hawthorn Berry Tree,  Coffee Berry,  Marjoram

Non-heirloom plants:

Hyssop,  Anise Hyssop, Nasturtium,  Chocolate Mint,  Sweet Mint,  Evening Primrose,  Lemon Balm,  Gay Feather,  Horseradish,  Garlic (seeds),  Rose Petals,  Lavender,  Eucalyptus leaves,  Oregano

Trees and other stuff I have….

Willow Trees,  Common Alder Trees,  Elm Trees, Elderberry, Fig, Grapes, Cedar,  Hazelnut,  Sugar Maple,  Blackberries

I am still harvesting…and making oils from the Mullein, St. John’s Wort, and Goldenrod.   Tinctures come next…
